Early Outlook on Japan’s 2025 Upper House Election

Tech & News

I felt really disappointed reading this morning’s Fukui Shimbun.
According to their report, the LDP candidate is overwhelmingly ahead of the others in the district race.

But come on—the current LDP is practically working for China. Don’t people realize they’re just pushing pro-China policies, especially under someone like Ishiba?
Aren’t we alarmed that our money, land, and political interests are all being handed over to China?

At this rate, Japan could be completely taken over by China within the next three years.

To make things worse, in the Fukui district, multiple conservative-leaning parties like Sanseitō, the Conservative Party of Japan, and the NHK Party are all running separately. That’s not helping.

I usually support the Conservative Party, but I’m tempted to vote for the Sanseitō candidate this time—they seem to have more momentum.
Still, I’m torn.

That’s all for now.
