We visited a cozy spot called Gohanya Temana. It wasn’t even noon yet, but the parking lot was already full—clearly a popular place.
At the entrance, we were greeted by none other than the Pink Panther.

The building itself is traditional Japanese in style, but there are Western touches scattered throughout—like the bright blue front door.

The menu:

We each decided to try something different.
My wife ordered the “Chef’s Whim Lunch”—chicken tender cutlet, meatball, mini cocotte, sweet potato salad, stir-fried komatsuna greens, vegetable salad, and multigrain rice.

Toru got the large portion of baked keema curry. It also came with a gratin-style mini cocotte. Between the cheese-topped curry and the cocotte, that’s a serious calorie bomb.

I chose the goulash lunch—beef shank and vegetables simmered in a spiced soup. The tender meat soaked in rich, fragrant broth was delicious.

If there’s one thing to note—it’s that the portions are huge. The women at nearby tables were finishing their meals and still had room for dessert.
As for me, I was totally stuffed.
