We Came, we Saw… It Was Closed

Gourmet Guide

We set out for a promising lunch adventure… only to be met with the cold, unblinking gaze of CLOSED signs. According to Google? Open. Reality? A cruel, hungry joke.

The first target: a mysterious spot discovered by our scout, Toru—”Uzumaki.”

Now, when I hear “Uzumaki,” my brain flashes to spirals, curses, and the eerie world of Junji Ito. So, I’ll admit, a small part of me was relieved it wasn’t operating. Escaped a horror movie scene—barely.

But the saga didn’t end there. Just five minutes down the road: Mickey’s Cafe. Ah, sweet salvation?

WRONG.

Also closed. Not just closed—ghost-town level abandonment. Is it permanently shut down? Renovating? A front for a secret organization? Who knows. The facade was whispering secrets… and none were inviting.

Thus, the lunch expedition ended in a double KO. But hey—that’s the whole point of our mission: to explore the unknown eateries of the city. As we delve deeper, naturally, the picks get stranger… and sometimes, simply shut.

Until next time, dear stomach. We’ll feast another day.
